A New Chapter: All Home Becomes an Independent Nonprofit

By Brett Andrews, Interim Chief Executive

I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in All Home’s journey: effective July 1, 2026, All Home will be an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Since our founding in 2019, we have operated as a fiscally-sponsored project of the Tides Center, whose partnership and support have been invaluable in helping us build the organization we are today. We are deeply grateful to Tides for everything they have made possible over these past six years.

What This Means for All Home

Our mission, our work, and our team remain the same. All Home will continue to serve as a convener and policy leader advancing housing and economic security for people with extremely low incomes across the Bay Area. What changes is the strength of the foundation underneath that work.

Independence will give All Home greater flexibility to pursue our advocacy priorities, support our long-term financial stability, and allow us to operate with greater agility — all in service of deepening our impact in the region.

Effective July 1, All Home will be able to receive tax-deductible gifts directly. Our new EIN is 33-1486277. Our new mailing address is as follows:

Looking Ahead

Given the challenges facing our region and the current state of our nation, this is the right moment for this step. Six years in, All Home has established a clear and vital role in the region — and we see both urgency and opportunity in the work ahead. We believe that together, we can achieve functional zero homelessness and create more effective, equitable systems for people with extremely low incomes in the Bay Area. Independence positions us to pursue that goal with greater determination and capacity than ever before.

None of this would be possible without the trust, investment, and partnership so many of you have extended to All Home over the years. This milestone belongs to all of us, and we are deeply grateful.
