The first guaranteed income program geared specifically to immigrant families, the Mission Asset Fund’s Immigrant Families Recovery Program (IFRP) is building a better future for immigrants left out of federal COVID-19 support payments. The program gives $400/month for up to two years to immigrant households with young children and lost income due to the pandemic. While the program is set to enroll 3,000 families across the country by the end of the summer, the Mission Asset Fund has partnered with a coalition of San Mateo County groups to reach families in this community in particular. Families receiving assistance will also have access to financial coaching, training, and education.

MAF also has a national IFRP that is serving undocumented families in Texas, New York, and beyond.
